noodle liew turns 21!

and so we went for noodle liew’s 21st birthday party at King Albert Park Mcdonalds last night. she said its cos she wanna revisit her childhood so she chose to hold her 21st at Macs. wahahahas! besides that irritating Mcdonalds woman who totally treated us as kids, (she called us ‘boys and girls’ and made us dance the chicken dance! -.-) we all had good fun! ((: thanks noodle liew for inviting me to my first ever Macs party, and hope you love the pressies me, van, zhijun, naf, lala, marcus and wenyang got for you!

i’ve been too busy and like super caught up with the things around me.

sometimes i wonder if i have been hoisting too much responsibilities onto my shoulders. i understand that it’s my nature to like to be involved in stuff and be kept busy, but i dont know what is my threshold and where is the point that i would crumble. i’m starting to feel the strain and i can foresee that the weight can only get heavier, but this time round, i don’t feel alone at all. ((: thanks to those around me; and i know i can count on you guys through this whole period. if you love me, please tolerate all my whinings, rantings and complaints. ((: wah sounds like sucha sad case to be my friend la!

i think there are many people who think that my prioities are not right at this moment, considering that a large bulk of my time is spent on such “commitments” rather than on my studies and i’m going to drop Graphic Comm so as to free up more time . but i think this is what i want to do now, and i know if i don’t do it, i’d look back at my university life with regrets. i don’t want to say “i should have joined this this this” or “i shouldn’t have done that that that” to me, these commitments are not just responsibilities, they are things i enjoy doing and i know i can do well in. so for now, i am letting go of whatever fears i have and continue doing what i have already set out to do. therefore, my friends, stay with me through these please?

XeVive has finally come to an end. YASHA, we are damn damn proud of you guys! you guys have emerged from being the sian-est og on the first day to winning cheer fight on the finale night! even when our population was only left with 8 people, you all did not give up but fought on even more crazily. you guys are the funniest i swear. during SP preview and the games at camp christine especially. there were times when us seniors laughed till we couldn’t talk because you all are damn super funny!

to my YASHA freshies:
i’m glad to be your ogl and i’ve seen how you guys have grown so much closer to each other over the past 6 days. even though you all are staying in diff blocks now, keep the bond strong and continue caring about each other’s lives. jinyang, marcus and i are truly proud of you during cheer fight. we’ve never ever seen you all cheer so loud before! YASHA, the 三八 gls love you!

to my YASHA SAs,
thanks for helping us take care of our og for the past 6 days. we would have died without you guys helping us to look after their belongings, leading the og when the gls are away or busy, and simply encouraging us on when we feel so weary. thanks to junjia, jiaen, maxwell, naf, lala, sherry, zl and yanxiu. we love you too!

to my fellow GLs,
you guys are THE BEST bunch of people i have worked with! because our focus is not to compete with each other, but more of havig fun together. i think we’ve done a good job for this foc, and its time for us to take some rest! to jinyang, marcus, benji, sheena, bingyao, joseph, xiaobee, candice, fuyi, wanyi and shiquan; let’s keep the GL bond strong and thanks for being there for each other during foc. ♥♥♥

 

the end of XeVive’08 marks the end of camps in this holidays and the start of school arg. shitty i got psychology instead of jap i don’t know why! should i drop it? my room still feels pretty bare and messy thanks to the throngs of people who stayed over during foc. any volunteers to help me mop my floor and hang up my clothes? (gosh i realise i don’t even own a mop!) i think hall life will not be as fun as it used to be anymore. sigh!
